Working quietly for decades on a singular pursuit is what draws me, letting the pieces speak for themselves. This body of work is a study in power and refinement.

Born on the Atlantic coast of Canada, Eric James Jensen studied at NSCAD University in Nova Scotia. His early work in monotypes (a printmaking process) revels in the power of the quick, spontaneous mark, the letting go of perfection. The image reveals itself moment by moment in the process.
