Sinbad Richardson is a Montreal animator and filmmaker. He has filmed numerous shorts and also directed/created music videos for many Montreal bands including Plants and Animals, Young Galaxy, Think About Life, and Miracle Fortress. I happen to be in a band with Sinbad, so I cornered him after band practice and using a handy Tascam recorder, found out how he got started in animation as a kid and how he happened to eavesdrop on some young’uns leading to his animated short “Algebra Tibe!”.
