Art in Context

Ricardo Levins Morales has used art as a form of activism since he was a youngster. He has contributed graphic images and cultural tactics to movements that he has been part of. Since 1979 he has worked through the Northland Poster Collective, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. His work includes art for organizing campaigns, for education, and to tell forgotten or misrepresented stories from history, and in whatever other ways that may support the building of peoples movements.
