Dorit Dornier was born in Germany. She studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich, Switzerland and the Fine Arts Academy in Berlin, Germany. IN 1982, she moved to Montreal with her family. She now lives in Val-Morin in the Laurentians. Her art is found in private collections throughout the world.
